FAQ
Where do you shoot?
-Our photoshoots take place in outside locations in Hiram/Dallas Georgia, unless requested otherwise. We do travel for additional cost and details can be given via e-mail. As you will see, we like to use locations that have a rustic, yet vivid personality. If you have any specific location in mind, we are always open to new ideas! If not, no worries, we have plenty of places in mind. Location changes thoroughout the shoot are allowed within the allotted time frame.
What should I wear?
-These are your photos, therefore, wear something that captures your style. Once the appointment is made, certain locations might complement or determine what you decide to wear. Bright, bold colors certainly make the pictures pop, but try to have your outfits complement each other, so the photo doesn’t become too busy. We encourage you to bring several outfits to provide for more options. We will capture as many as you want withing the allotted time frame.
Do I need to bring anything? -We do have a few props to add character to photos, but feel free to bring your own! Anything that captures your personality is more than welcome; A guitar, funky furniture, umbrellas, pets, anything that holds signifigance.
What should I expect? -Our goal with Kayla Colvard Photography is to make your experience as easy and as fun as possible. We love to capture free-spririted, candid photos, so please don’t be afraid to let your personality shine and have a few laughs! Once your photoshoot is completed, you can expect to receive the edited CD in about two weeks unless there are pending circumstances.
What are proofing sessions? -These are a fun way to sit down with our clients and reveal the final product. During a proofing session, our clients are able to view their photos in hard copy and make a purchase at this time. This is the perfect time to bring family and friends, especially if they are interested in ordering prints. Proofing sessions are included in every package available through Kayla Colvard Photography, but are always optional.
